Ben is a B.S in Marketing Communications graduate from Emerson College in Boston, graduating in May 2023 after just three years. Ben held a 3.77 GPA, played D3 baseball for two years, and earned a minor in Esports Communications.
Ben is currently attending Northwestern University’s Integrated Marketing Communications Master’s program and will graduate in December 2024. During his time in the program, he has gained immense knowledge in brand strategy and data analytics.
Ben worked as a Strategic Planning Intern at The Mars Agency to further develop his marketing skills. He gained valuable experience in data analysis, building insights and strategies, and presenting shopper marketing campaigns or reports to clients like Campbell's, Anheuser-Busch, and Sprouts Farmer's Market.
Ben co-founded JBR Sports, an event management company focused on hosting and promoting community-based recreational sporting events in southeast Michigan, in 2021. Ben is responsible for all marketing activities, including social media, branding, video production, and negotiating branding and sponsorship deals with organizations like NBA2K, the University of Michigan, and Epic Games.
Ben gained valuable experience from a marketing internship at Sparta Commercial Services (New York, NY). He developed a social media strategy and blog for CycleChex (the “CarFax” of the motorcycle world), including their Trust the Torque blog. Ben also worked for First Pulse Consulting (Worchester, MA) as a Digital Marketing Manager, developing a go-to-market plan via customer research for Athes, a new social media app focused on youth athletes.
